Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO)

The Office of Equal Opportunity is responsible for ensuring safety and equity for all members of the Tufts community, including students, staff, faculty, and third parties. They ensure equal opportunity in all university educational or work environments, with no geographic limitation. The office responds to all reports and complaints of discrimination and harassment on all four campuses at Tufts.

Reporting

When you report a situation to the OEO, you have choices on how you want to proceed. A report against someone does not automatically trigger an OEO investigation, and you are not “locked in” to a particular option just because you made a report. When in doubt, reach out!
